We were very saddened by the news. We have been guests of Pemba and Anchi, and also of Nawang's in Sonoma at his restaurant. We first met Pemba in 1990 on our first trek to Nepal, and saw him several times after that. He was always so glad to see everyone, and very gracious in allowing us to visit him and the family in Kathmandu. He will be greatly missed. Rick and Debbie Sironen Dear Family of Pemba,
